      The Tunisian revolution has brought in its wake an unprecedented cycle of protest and uprisings right across the world. Spontaneous, young, civil and pacific, its greatest originality lies in the use of new words and images reflecting not only the creativity of its players but the changing social and cultural relationships at the heart of it, where the local is more and more shaped by the global.
