Abstract

Casablanca is a metropolis and it is the economic capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. The archaeological discoveries place it in the remote historical chronologies. In 1906, the city became the leading port in Morocco. A year later, it developed beyond its frontiers. It is the birth of Casablanca. The metamorphosis of the city started in the tens. This corresponds to the arrival of the architect Henri Prost, who set the first town planning of Casablanca, requested by Lyautey.
