Abstract

Casablanca, a modern city built by populations of different origins, has long been a melting pot of cultures and has inspired an original urban architecture. Much more than an Art deco city, Casablanca offers its visitors a full range of architectural styles dating back to the first half of the 20th century. They can contemplate front sides of buildings in the districts of the centre of Casablanca, mainly at Mohamed V Avenue, Prince Moulay Abdellah pedestrian street and in the old European district of Mers Sultan.
