Abstract

Tetouan is the most andalusian city of the Kingdom of Morocco. It was founded by Mohamed ben Ali Al Mandari, and was invaded by thousands of andalusian Muslims and Jews after the fall of Granada in 1492. The andalusian architecture of Tetouan is a fundamental feature of the town with its walls, casbah, small houses and palaces ( with patios, fountains and gardens).
