Abstract

Author of the famous fable " Le Petit Prince"( The Little Prince), the most widely read youth novel, Antoine de Saint Exupery is known not only for his talent as a writer, but also for his tragic fate as an airman. Literature and adventure were the two movers of his existence. He drew the topics of his novels from his experience as an airmail pilot and a pilot for Air France. He joined up as a reporter during the war of Spain and fought in the air force during the second world war. He also took part in the American landing in North Africa and disappeared with his plane in mysterious circumstances.
