Abstract

In the South of Morocco, Saqua Al Hamra has always been considered as the land of saints. Indeed, the 16th century witnessed a maraboutic restlessness that led to the foundation of the Saadian dynasty in Morocco. In this mouvement, a prominent place is given to religious personalities who who would have been from Saqia Al Hamra, from where they would have gone, through the Maghreb, to disseminate the message of islam.
