The report presents the architectural genius of the Merinids' dynasty founded in 1269. When the Merinids arrived to Morocco ,they had found several constructions which reflected an enormous know-how. But during the reign of this dynasty, the Kingdom had prospered and buildings had multiplied, including madrasas and mosques built in the Arab way "T". The construction included seven perpendicular naves, a square minaret and a mihrab made as if it were a work of art. The roofs with glazed tiles, glazed ceramics are all characteristics of the Merinid architecture . The madrasa of Salé , built by the Sultan Abou El Hassan Ali, is a perfect example with its canopy of carved cedar and its floors covered with tiles.Type
