Abstract

Mister Ebé was born the 15th april of 1930. As a teenager, during the summer vacation, he made the ride in charrette from Cuges-les-pins (sometimes Signe) to Aubagne to bring back the wood cut by the lumbermen. His father, who didn't want to see him working in the wood sector, sent him to Aix-en-Provence in a school so that he becomes an engeneer. Working in a room and studying mathematics literaly made him sick. Out of there, he decided to work in the wood sector and took over the sawmill of the family, called Ebé Bois. He retired in 1990.
