Abstract

An interview with Aly Maher who served as Ambassador to France and was then appointed secretary general to the Arab thought foundation where he played an important role improving cross-cultural dialogue and presenting a global view of the Arab culture. From 2006-2008, Maher was the Director of the Institute for Peace Studies, which is part of the Suzanne Mubarak Women's International Peace Movement. He was talking about Bernard Kouchner, French Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier, singing a song in Berlin about European integration and peace.
