The conferences organized in the framework of " Thinking about the Mediterranean" constituted an opportunity for dialogue and exchange. Their themes are centered on shared memories, conflicts and the common cultural, historical and commercial roots of the Mediterranean region. They discussed a number of challenges, but also points of sharing and exchange in the euro-mediterranean area, including commercial routes, the religious field, culture and stories, architecture and cities. Thierry Fabre about the Mediterranean in stories, its narrative place, and insists on the symbolic dimension of this sea full of imaginary. He explores this imaginary museum through texts of his choice, such as those of the Greek poet Cavafy.Type
