Abstract

Professor Ingrid Rowland, university of Notre Dame school of architecture, Italy, gave a speech on how Egypt was perceived by Europeans in seventeenth century Rome. She talked about the ancient Rome in the seventeenth century, the Egyptian lions at the altur of heaven, Madama Lucrezia, father Athanasius Kircher (1602- 1680) in his museum, Athanasius Kircher and his guardian angel cosmiel "Iter exstaticum" 1660.
