Abstract

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is designed to revive the role played by its illustrious ancestor in promoting dialogue and exchange between scholars, philosophers and artists. The Arts Center has to be a crucible of the most diverse artistic expressions, thereby fulfilling the objectives of the BA to become Egypt's window on the world and the world's window on Egypt, especially , in art. The orchestra of the BA, led by Sherif Mohie Eldin, presents the most famous songs of Western movies. "La vie en rose", a song from the movie "La Môme", produced in 2007.
