Abstract

Treasures of the past, "the fifties": A collection of the most famous Arab and foreign songs in the fifties presented by a group of young singers. The song' Zahma ya Dounia Zahma' by the popular artist Ahmed Adawiya ; was composed by Hani Shenouda from the film ' Shaabane Tahat Assifr ' produced in1980. Ahmed Adawiya was a popular Egyptian singe .r He was famous and was considered as the most important popular singer in the seventies . He influenced popular singing a lot as he was the spiritual father to those after him such as Hakim . He also participated in many films . Many great artists like Abdelwahab, Farid Al-Atrash and Abdelhalim Hafid praised his voice . Abdel Halim Hafed once sang "Sah Dah Embu" One of Adawiya's songs , and Adawiya sang Abdel Halim Hafez 's song ' Khsara, khsara ' .
