AbstractTreasures of the past, "the fifties": A collection of the most famous Arab and foreign songs in the fifties represented by a group of young singers. The song " Kaab al Ghazal" by the artist Mohamed Rushdi, was written by Hussein Sayed and composed by Mounir Murad . Muhammad Rushdi (July 20, 1928 - May 2, 2005), an Egyptian singer , was born in the governorate of Kafr el-Sheikh in the city Desouk , he learnt the Quran at the Al Kouttab of his village , when he went to Cairo ,he joined Fouad's Institute for Music . His first song was :'Goulou li Mouadoun el Balad" . He then broadcast on the radio "Adham Sharkawy," and had great success . Mohamed Rushdi acted in 6 films . Mohamed Rushdi ,Baligh Hamdi and the poet Abdel-Rahman Abnoudi form a triplet of great artists ,this was the reason for the beginning of the spread of popular songs . Mohamed Rushdi sang also religious and national songs during October's victories . In Ramadan he sang in the series "Ibn Majah," and recorded his last album, entitled ' Damat limene '
