Abstract

Dr Ismail Sarradjeddine, Director of the library of Alexandria, talked about water purification that started in 2000 B.C, the fist attempt of the municipality to purify water and provide the citizens with clean drinkable water was in 1804. The most important medical discovery, in the sewage treatment history, was that of Louis Moria who invented the sewage tank in 1860.
