Abstract

The BA Arts Center organized in 29 March 2006 an exhibition entitled "Tutankhamun's Wardrobe" : A reconstruction of the textiles of Tutankhamun’s Treasure, in cooperation with the Swedish Institute and the Swedish Museum of Textile History. The exhibition features the meticulously created reconstruction of the nearly 3500 years old clothes of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Speech of Abdel Halim Nour el Din about textile in ancient Egypt, ancient Egyptian linen, materials and strength of Egyptian textile, and linen’s colors, quality and use.
