Abstract

This documentary is a presentation of the Walls surrounding Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. The Walls were constructed by the Venetian conquerors in 1567 for fortification purposes. Reference is made on the history of the construction of the Walls, the degradation and changes that were brought on them, as well as the restoration to their original glory by the Department of Antiquities.
