Abstract

Pediaios stream flows only in winter during heavy rainfall on the mountains. However, its role as an important enricher of the aquifer in the interior plains of the island has rightly earned it the name "Route of Life". This documentary follows the river from its source on the peaks of Machairas mountains through to the outskirts of capital Nicosia.
