Abstract

The National Park of Chrea, located twenty miles south of Blida, in the Mitidja Atlas, northern Algeria, is mainly mountainous; it is characterized by a unique endemic biodiversity, and is home to numerous species of trees; this park is a gigantic museum where sites of special interest are preserved against any threat of degradation; it is also called the Cedar Museum.
