Algiers, Mediterranean port, has a great numbers of gardens, green spaces that attract visitors in search of calm and relaxation. The gardens of Algiers, dating from before colonization, surrounded the houses of the rich (Diar) and the Dey ’s palaces, whereas in the Casbah the gardens were rare.
