Abstract

The National Park of Chrea extends over 26,000 hectares. Located in the heart of the Blida mountain, 50km south of Algiers, it is one of ten Algerian national parks. A ubiquitous nature welcomes hikers. We discover through this documentary the beauty of the peaks, the Apes Creek, the Ferns Pass and the gorgeous cedar forests. A visit to the museum provides information on the richness and biodiversity of the area. The skiers also get a fair deal when snow covers the mountain with a white coat.
