Abstract

It is assumed that the ruins of the Ikdjal valley are the remains of the Fatimid capital. The visit of the site, located 66km from Setif, is conducted by specialists. Ikdjal is in the territorial division of Beni Aziz .Some local residents talk about the region and remember the time when they played among the ruins. Pending archaeological excavations, the concerned authorities have taken over the site security by appointing a guardian.
