Abstract

Documentary on the building of the University of Islamic Sciences and the Emir Abdelkader Mosque in Constantine. The start dates back to October 1970 with the laying of the foundation stone by the late President Houari Boumedienne, who wanted a North African Andalusian architecture. The plans were designed by Mohamed Islam Hocine, an Algerian architect who gave it a Muslim Arab aspect, which does not diminish to the architectural quality of the achievement.
