Abstract

The documentary is about the breeding of camels in Southern Algeria, especially in the area of Ghardaia, Menea and Zelfana. It contains a description of the morphological and biological characteristics, and a presentation of the scientific, economical and nutritional value of the dromedary in North Africa. A camel race is organized in Zelfana on the occasion of the Camel Day.
