Abstract

Most of the Muslim community in France lives in Paris. This documentary deals with the Muslims’ religious practices, especially during the holy month " Ramadhan"; cultural evenings and prayers in the Great Mosque of Paris are organized. The camera enters a Muslim family’s kitchen to follow the different stages in the preparation of ‘ftour’ , People break the fast then spend their evenings with friends or relatives. Professor Guessoum explains the missions of the Mosque of Paris .
