Abstract

It all began with some breakdowns in the chillers of a thermal station located at Marsa El Hadjadj. The cause was a “posydania” seaweed that seeps into the gears and slow the machines. the scientific ship “Mohamed Seddik Benyahia” is alerted and sets out from the city of Mostaghanem to travel the coast and overcome the problem. Several experiments are being conducted aboard the lab-boat.
