Abstract

Milk is a commodity in the consumption pattern of Algeria. Algeria is the third largest world's importer of milk and dairy products, after Italy and Mexico. consequently, the Algerian state has implemented several measures to boost domestic production such as supporing breeding in dairy farms and providing subsides to small farmers as it is the case of producers in the wilaya of Bejaia .
