Abstract

By its very nature and therefore the species it is characterized with, the Algerian forest, which is typically Mediterranean, does not provide a large amount of wood (200,000 cubic meters).However, significant efforts have been made to establish plantations with a productive potential and a rapid growth to meet the needs of wood of Algeria.
