‘Museoscope’ is a program that deals with various cultural subjects: culture, archeology history and museum. The history of ancient Algeria is thus explored and highlighted through the objects that are kept in museums. This issue offers a visit at the fort of the city of Tamentfoust , formerly La Pérouse, an ancient city whose origins date back to the Phoenicians then the Romans. Classified Historical Monument in 1952, the Ottoman fort was built with ashlar and has an original octagonal shape unlike the other Ottoman military buildings.. The fort houses a museum displaying objects from different periods. Interview with Nahila Guerab, archaeologist, working at the fort.Type
