Abstract

This social drama tells the story of an Algerian family devastated by the war. Three characters, father, mother and son, whose lives are punctuated by family rites and simple tasks of subsistence, suddenly find themselves caught up in the cycle of war. After the father's killing by a bombing of the French Air Force, the son has to divide his time between domestic work at daytime, and supplies of the guerrillas at night.
