The city of Tlemcen is a major historical, cultural, commercial and political center. Countless artists, writers, musicians and poets lived there. This documentary highlights three of these poets who remained unknown despite their significant contribution to the Algerian culture. Ahmed Ben Triki (nicknamed Ben Zengli) was born in 1670; his poetry gives a true image of people' s life and culture. Mohamed Benmsaieb was born in Tlemcen by the late 17th century into a family originally from Andalusia. Boumediene Bensahla, inspired by his father, became a poet, composer and singer.Type
