Abstract

Beni Saf is a coastal city, located on the northwest coast of Algeria near the Moroccan border. At the entrance to its port, the voices of the auction heard. The annual output of this port, which has seen an increase in vessels, is of more than 14,000 tons. The area is known by the importance of its fisheries production of blue fish, since fish resources in Algeria are comprised mainly of sardine and anchovy. Thus, the fishing port of Beni Saf is still the largest in terms of fleet and capacity.
