Abstract

The movement was created in 1935 by Mohamed Bouras. On his proposal, the league of the algerian muslim scouts was created and obtained the aproval of the french government in July 1939. This national organization is education-oriented. It is in conformity with the principles of the World Organization of the scout movement of which it has been a member since 1963. Interview with Mr Nour-Eddine Ben Braham, General Responsable of the current movement.
