Abstract

Tlemcen is a town in the west of Algeria and the capital of the Zianides. It celebrates the 50th anniversary of the founding of Dar el Hadith;the first free islamic school founded during the colonization period. This 50th anniversary calls for a very important historic event in the struggle of the Algerian people for its independence.
