Tadmait is a region located between the Algerian Sahara in the south and the Great Western Erg. It situated in the north of In Salah. As its name in Tamachek suggests it, Tadmait looks like a flat and tense hand palm. it's a limestone plateau, obviously uncultivated, its edges, ravined by an audacious cliff, plunges in the furnace of a sandy depression which is sheltering typical saharian villages. The real desert begins at In Salah and Tidikelt, its region.Type
