Abstract

The jewel is generally defined as a small precious object, but it represents a whole culture of symbol, myth and legends. Kabylia is probably the most fruitful region in Algeria in jewelry and the undisputed reputation of Kabyle jewelry is due to the work of the artisans jewelers, the Beni Yenni. They traveled through time and space thanks to the expertise of the artisans jewelers who transmitted their art from generation to generation. These essential accessories of the women's adornments remain the faithful witness of our people and our culture, as evidenced by this documentary of Nadia Derradij. 1st part.
