Abstract

The film takes place in the context of the war of October 1973 between Egypt and Israel. It focusses on the courageous behaviour of the Egyptian people and highlights its sacrifices. On October 6th, 1973, the Egyptian army offers its people the most beautiful gift of the year, by crossing the Suez canal to regain Sinai. But on October 22th, the Suez canal is occupied again by the Israeli army until the beginning of 1974. At that time, many Egyptians and residents of Suez took part in the war against Israel. Among them was Abdelaziz, the newspaper distributor and Abderrahmane Aahmoud Abderrahman. This fiction is their story.
