Abstract

The film deals with the biography of the singer and composer Sayed Darwish and his most important musical works. It is also evokes his education, his father's death and his mother's education; she wanted him to be a sheikh rather than a singer. But he achieved great success in singing in 1919 and composed popular and famous songs still famous in Egypt and the Arab world .
