Abstract

The organised raising of heirloom cultivars is non-existing in Croatia. That is the reason why the project that was initiated by Prof.Dr. Matotan is so important. He organised the gene bank in the Higher School of Education in Križevci, where the old seeds are to be sorted, evaluated and stored for future generations.
