Abstract

Boškarin is a famous Istrian cattle. This animal is one of the oldest and largest cattle breeds in the world. This huge animal weighs up to 1.5 tons, has a great physical stamina and its frightening horns are decorated with brass balls. He has become a valuable rarity. In Višnjan, a small town close to Poreč, Mr Aldo Štifanić and his brother are boškarins breeders.
