Abstract

The guest today is the singer Lea Shabat. She is cooking vegetable tempura, pasta with tomatoes and sardines sauce. Hila Alpert visits Nura Huseisi, from the Druze village Dalyat el Carmel. She is starting her tour with the spice shop and then goes to Nura's kitchen. Nura is preparing traditional Druze dishes : a barbazina stew which contains humus, wheat groats, lentils and gamba. Preparation of the kishak : sambusak filled with wheat groats, labane, sambusak zaatar, filled vineleaves, lamb with pine nuts and for dessert a pavlova cake.
