Abstract

Today, the guest of the program is the actor Jaque Cohen, who chooses to cook food from his childhood memories in Jerusalem among the Orfali community. He is cooking: Sabiga (fried bread with olive oil and garlic), Sapicha (tomatoes with eggplants, garlic and hot pepper), Shifta (Kurdish stew of cutllets and Humus), stuffed carrot with lamb meat, Maamoul cookies made by Chaim's aunt. We follow Jaque Cohen for a tour in Jerusalem, looking for Orfali's roots. We go to a tabun bakery and to a spices shop to taste a Jerusalem mix (famous Jerusalem grilled mix of inner parts of meat). Yafa and Malka prepare Ija (green vegetable omelet).
