Abstract

The Suez Canal has just reopened after a series of work. The cargo ship Bordabbari, loaded with water and flour containers, must go to Djibouti (Sudan) and Jeddah. Interview with a member of the crew: "It's quite convenient, instead of one month, it takes only five days to go to Suez through the Cape.". This means development of the port of Marseille, but the Suez Canal is still considered a war zone and insurance premiums for cargo remain high.
