Abstract

Pierre Dumayet presents first the city of Jerusalem and its various holy sites shared between Israel and Jordan. Then, in Nazareth, he met with Mgr Hakim, Archbishop of Galilee, who explains the history of the holy sites, and Father Gauthier, priest worker who works with the Arabs. Pierre Dumayet then meets Mr. Friedman,in Eilat, who tells the story of the construction of the city. Finally, the Israeli prime minister, David Ben Gourion, recalls his arrival in Israel, Israel’s relationship with its Arab neighbors and its desire to populate the Israeli desert.
