Abstract

The Mediterranean is the scene of conflicts between the North and the South, and between the three monotheistic religions. Will the reinforcement of Europe resolve the conflicts or maintain the gap? Pedrag Matvejevitch, a Bosnian writer, recalls that the EU was made with no reference to the Mediterranean and that this great institution has no Mediterranean project.
