Bernard Dorin tells the story of the Jewish people who, since his return to Canaan under the leadership of Moses, has experienced many Diasporas ( Greek word meaning 'dispersion'). the first was in 70 AD; the second concerns the Jewish refugees in central Europe; the third in 1492, affected the Jewish community in Spain. After the latter, the Jewish people face again three other Diasporas. The seventh took place during World War II with the Holocaust. The tenth is currently taking place and concerns the Russian Jews. The commentary of Bernard Dorin is completed by the explanations of Philip Boukara, a historian, and is illustrated with engravings and archive footage.Type
