Abstract

The program entitled ‘Islam’ begins a new series of feature stories devoted to Islam in the world. As a prelude to the Season of Turkey in France which starts in July, the series begins with Turkey. Comments on factual and archive images, alternating with interviews of Ali Bardakoglu, president of Religious Affairs in Turkey, Fahri Isik, an archaeologist, Abdallah oztürk, vice-dean of the Faculty of Letters of Selçuk University, Ali Sems Aksu, a musician and Mustapha Cipan, director of culture and tourism in Konya.
