Abstract

Jean-Yves Empereur, an archaeologist who heads the marine excavations near Alexandria in Egypt, was invited for the TV news and answers the questions of Bruno Masure about the remnants of the Alexandria lighthouse . According to him, the stone blocks found at the bottom of the sea, by their size and shape, necessarily belong to the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria. Through his research, he was able to realize the old dream to show these ruins to their advantage.
