Abstract

The PACA region was hit by a major earthquake in 1909. In 1963, a new earthquake occurred and hit Italy. The largest earthquake in the region occurred in 1564, leaving nearly 900 dead in Nice. Nearly 2,500 kilometers of territory have shaken. A symposium is held in Cannes to inform people about seismic activity in our region.
