Abstract

For the first time, a team of five Tunisian journalists could film the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca (​​hajj). Tunisian journalist Mohammed Ben Smail comments different sequences for Pierre Dumayet: the arrival of pilgrims in Jeddah, the entrance to Mecca and the procession around the Kaaba, the feast of Eid al Adha and the sacrifice of sheep on Mount Arafat and the pilgrimage to Medina, on the prophet's tomb.
